You probably heard the saying “If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life”. It’s a well known quote and cited many, many times. We can’t promise you won’t have to work a day in your life, but we are very good at providing our fellow coworkers the space and resources to work well and opportunities to grow, so everyone really enjoys waking up every day and getting ready for work. At Visionect, we love the work we do! And we love the team we’re a part of.
(Your) typical day
A typical day of someone might look like this: wake up, drive to the offices, check-in, work, meetings, more work, more meetings, quick lunch, more work, check out and drive home.
We’re not that routine and we don’t want it!
Of course we have working hours, meetings, lunch … But one of the things we know well is that commuting is something that takes some of our precious time and while we appreciate and encourage visits to the offices since we believe meeting in person is important, we don’t enforce anybody to be physically present. As long as everyone is available to the team and gets the job done, presence in the office is something that is decided among the members of each team and the team lead.
Food is an important part of our lives and we encourage reasonable lunch moments with your fellow coworkers (be that with your team or your boss).
If you like furry and cute animals, there’s also a very compelling reason to drop by to our offices: dogs are allowed and welcome. The four-legged friends will appreciate your presence and tail wagging is assured 😊
We have a performance-oriented culture and we focus more on the mission and how to accomplish goals instead of on rules and bureaucracy. This allows you and the team to work autonomously and efficiently communicate with other teams and departments.
We’re really passionate about the work we do. But passion doesn’t mean you’re just good at something, it means much more: you have a passion to grow, to learn, even from your own mistakes and from the feedback you get.
Visionect is around over 12 years and while we certainly made mistakes, we learned so much more and growth is something that is deeply rooted in our culture. It is the growth mindset that we all have and which drives our efforts and our enthusiasm.
You will have the opportunity to grow not only as a professional,, but as a person. We have processes in place that will enable you to learn, attend internally-organized workshops and have an open and civil discussion with everyone in the company.
We’re so much more …
It is not only work – it is also other benefits, opportunities and fun activities: in-house DIY fitness, tabletop soccer, badminton, BBQ events, team buildings and other sport activities and parties.
So, what can you do next
You just can’t afford to miss the opportunity – check our open positions and apply. Maybe it is you we are looking for to become a part of our great team!
How To Get On The Team
You need to apply to one of our open positions and fill all the required information. Our recruitment team will then review your application and notify you within three working days about the next steps.
We will schedule an on-site (if possible) screening interview or a video call, where you will have the opportunity to know us better and ask any question that you might have about the company, the work we do and about the applied position. It might happen that the interviewer will ask you technical questions as well. The topics covered are disclosed before the interview itself, so you’ll have the chance to prepare.
You will meet the rest of the team and talk to your future peers and our HR manager. Depending on the applied position, you can expect some additional technical questions. The final step before hiring is negotiation, where we will talk about your duties and responsibilities, expectations and salary.
