How does the evolution of smart environments tie in with privacy and the new European data protection legislation? Daniel Schroeder, VP and Global Head of Smart Space at Siemens, explains, moments before his Integrated Systems Europe talk on smart buildings creating value.

“If you leverage personal data to make the work experience and productivity better, people will accept it,” says Daniel Schroeder, VP and Global Head of Smart Space, Siemens Building Technologies.
