Welcome to Visionect’s website. Please read on to learn about our privacy policy and the rules that govern the use of all our websites, products, services, mobile applications and other software (collectively, “Visionect websites” or “our websites”).

Visionect websites include the website www.visionect.comwww.joanassistant.comand www.tabletopgeoffrey.com, and are operated by Visionect, Barjanska cesta 62, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia (“us”, “we”,”ours”).

HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?

You can order a Visionect product by adding the product to your shopping cart in Visionect’s online store, and then proceeding to checkout. Your order will be completed once you enter your credit card details and confirm purchase, or once you login into your PayPal account and finalize the payment.

Please note that the contact information provided in your PayPal account will be the contact information Visionect will use to update you on the status of your order (see ‘Where can I check the status of my order?)

WHERE CAN I CHECK THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?

Visionect will update you on the status of your order via email. You will receive a confirmation email upon completing the order, and an email from Visionect when your order has been shipped. This email will include the tracking number of your package.

HOW DO I CANCEL THE ORDER?

Orders of NCNR Products, which are all the products not provided in an enclosure – Visionect Boards, Modules and Development Kits – cannot be canceled.

Orders of Visionect Signs, however, can be cancelled. If your Visionect Sign order has yet to be processed by Visionect, you can cancel it by contacting sales@visionect.com and notifying them that you have changed your mind. Please be aware, however, that if your product had already been shipped (see ‘When will my order be shipped out?’) there is no way of abandoning the purchase: you will have to wait for delivery and then ship the Sign to Visionect at your own cost for a full refund (see ‘What’s the process for returns?’).

 

Payment

All purchases in Visionect’s online store are completely safe, completed through verified paying methods such as PayPal or credit cards.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

Purchases on Visionect’s site can be made through PayPal or by a credit card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express).

In order to pay with PayPal you will have to have an active PayPal account. When completing an order in Visionect’s online store you will be prompted to login into your PayPal account by entering your email and password; once logged in, you will be able to complete your purchase on PayPal’s site.

 

Shipping

Smooth shipping via a trusted carrier ensures that your Visionect product will be delivered anywhere on the globe.

WHERE DO WE SHIP FROM?

All orders are shipped from Ljubljana, Slovenia (Europe).

WHERE DO WE DELIVER?

Our products can be delivered worldwide. Wherever you are located, we’ll make sure you will not miss out on an opportunity to prototype on electronic paper!

WHAT SHIPPING METHODS DO WE OFFER?

We offer one shipping method, via a partner courier service. Delivering the products to you will usually take from 2 to 5 working days, depending on where in the world you are located.

WHAT IS THE COST OF SHIPPING?

Shipping is not included in the price. This means that, unless otherwise agreed, all applicable costs of carriage, freight, taxes, duty and other related shipping charges are borne by you.

Your shipping fee will be aded to your purchase as you check out of the Visionect online store and will be calculated based on the cumulative weight of the items being shipped and the region you are shipping to.

WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED OUT?

Your order will be shipped out as soon as we receive your payment confirmation; this will usually be the first business day after you have placed the order. Don’t worry, we’ll update you on the status of your order via email.

Please note that we are not liable for late or delayed delivery, nor is this a basis for your cancellation of any order.

 

Warranty

WHAT IS THE WARRANTY FOR YOUR PRODUCTS?

Visionect products in a closed enclosure (Visionect Signs) have a standard warranty of 1 year.

Warranty does not apply to (1) Visionect Signs you purchase from unauthorized resellers; (2) where the instructions for use and activation of the Visionect Signs are not complied with; (3) where the Visionect Sign is used in contrary with instructions to use; or (4) where the Visionect Sign is returned and damaged as a result of mechanical abuse, accident, unauthorized modification or other causes beyond our reasonable control.

We will at our option repair or replace a nonconforming Visionect Sign with new, equivalent to new, or reconditioned parts or, if either of the foregoing is commercially impractical in Visionect’s determination, refund the Visionect Sign purchase price you paid (excluding separate costs of shiping) upon your return of Visionect Sign.

All products not provided in an enclosure – Visionect Board, Module and Development Kit – can be subject to a failure to properly follow Visionect handling instructions and can be exposed to conditions beyond our control such as surges of static electricity. For this reason they do not come with a warranty and are not eligible for return (NCNR).

Returns

WHAT’S THE PROCESS FOR RETURNS?

All products not provided in an enclosure – Visionect Board, Module and Development Kit  – are non-cancelable and non-returnable (NCNR). Once purchased, the product cannot be returned for any reason other than manufacturing defect.

The only exception to the NCNR policy are Visionect Signs. You can return a Visionect Sign in 15 days after delivery in original or equivalent packaging and bear all shipping costs and risk of loss. If the Visionect Sign is in perfect working condition, without any mechanical damage, you will be refunded 70% of your purchase price.

Terms and Conditions

Visionect is not liable for any loss or damages that may arise from using our services. By placing an order in Visionect’s online store you are agreeing to Visionect’s privacy policy and other terms and conditions.

 

PLACE & PLAY AFFILIATE PROGRAM

Terms and Conditions

As a Place & Play affiliate, you will receive a 10% commission for every confirmed online sale you have made possible. In return, we expect you to provide us with new sales channels, promoting the Place & Play signage family and supporting Visionect’s marketing activities.

Your excellence in advocating Place & Play will also put you in the running towards becoming an official Place & Play reseller.

All payouts in the Place & Play affiliate program are provided in United States dollars (USD), even when the customer’s payment is provided in Euro (EUR). The payout is provided without conversion, meaning that the affiliate receives 10% of the nominal value, in USD.

A sale is considered to have been conducted within the affiliate program when the customer buys a Place & Play product in 60 days from receiving the custom affiliate partner URL (60-day cookie length).
