Visionect development kits are available for purchase in Visionect’s online store. Start prototyping on electronic paper in just a few simple clicks.

 

HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?

You can order your very own Visionect development kit by adding the kit to your shopping cart in Visionect’s online store, and then proceeding to checkout. Your order will be completed once you enter your credit card details and confirm purchase, or once you login into your PayPal account and finalize the payment.

 

Please note that the contact information provided in your PayPal account will be the contact information Visionect will use to update you on the status of your order (see ‘Where can I check the status of my order?)

If you are ordering the development kit as an EU­based company, we strongly encourage you to also provide your VAT number when completing your order, as this will make communication easier.

 

WHERE CAN I CHECK THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?

Visionect will update you on the status of your order via email. You will receive a confirmation email upon completing the order, and an email from Visionect when your order has been shipped. This email will include the tracking number of your package.

 

HOW DO I CANCEL THE ORDER?

If your order has yet to be processed by Visionect, you can cancel it by contacting sales@visionect.com​and notifying them that you have changed your mind. Please be aware, however, that if your development kit had already been shipped (see ‘When will my order be shipped out?’) there is no way of abandoning the purchase: you will have to wait for delivery and then ship the kit to Visionect at your own cost for a full refund (see ‘What's the process for returns?’).

All purchases in Visionect’s online store are completely safe, completed through verified paying methods such as PayPal or credit cards.

 

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

Purchases on Visionect’s site can be made through PayPal or by a credit card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express).

 

In order to pay with PayPal you will have to have an active PayPal account. When completing an order in Visionect’s online store you will be prompted to login into your PayPal account by entering your email and password; once logged in, you will be able to complete your purchase on PayPal’s site.

 

WHAT CURRENCIES DO YOU ACCEPT?

All our prices are provided in USD.

Please note that the prices provided do not include applicable sales taxes, Value Added Tax, export or import charges, transportation or insurance charges, customs and duty fees, personal property taxes or similar charges, all of which are your responsibility to pay.

 

CAN I PAY IN ANOTHER CURRENCY?

Payment in currencies other than USD is unfortunately not possible.

All orders are shipped from Ljubljana, Slovenia (Europe).

 

WHERE DO WE DELIVER?

Our development kits can be delivered worldwide. Wherever you are located, we’ll make sure you will not miss out on an opportunity to prototype on electronic paper!

 

WHAT SHIPPING METHODS DO WE OFFER?

We offer one shipping method, via a partner courier service. Delivering the development kits to you will usually take from 2 to 5 working days, depending on where in the world you are located.

 

WHAT IS THE COST OF SHIPPING?

Shipping is not included in the price. This means that, unless otherwise agreed, all applicable costs of carriage, freight, taxes, duty and other related shipping charges are borne by you.

Your shipping fee will be aded to your purchase as you check out of the Visionect online store and will be calculated based on the cumulative weight of the items being shipped and the region you are shipping to. For example: for deliveries within the EU that weigh up to 1kg you should pay around $30; this price can be around $50 for deliveries to the US and around $55 for shipments to other countries across the globe.

 

WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED OUT?

Your order will be shipped out as soon as we receive your payment confirmation from PayPal; this will usually be the first business day after you have placed the order. Don’t worry, we’ll update you on the status of your order via email.

Please note that we are not liable for late or delayed delivery, nor is this a basis for your cancellation of any order.

WARRANTY
Warranty

 

WHAT IS THE WARRANTY FOR YOUR DEVELOPMENT KITS?

Visionect development kits with a closed enclosure have a standard warranty of 2 years. Development kits in an open enclosure, however, can be subject to a failure to properly follow Visionect handling instructions and can be exposed to conditions beyond our control such as surges of static electricity. For this reason Visionect’s open­enclosure development kits do not come with a warranty.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I RECEIVE A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT?

Visionect’ mission is to provide our customers with state of the art, top­notch technical equipment in perfect condition. However, unforeseen things do happen; if your product is defective on arrival, please contact s​ales@visionect.com ​and we’ll make sure you receive a replacement kit or your money back.

WHAT'S THE PROCESS FOR RETURNS?

Your development kit can be returned within 14 days of delivery, no questions asked. To return a development kit, just contact sales@visionect.com, who will guide you through the return process.

 

Once the development kit is received and checked, a full refund (including the charge of delivering the package to you) will be made to your PayPal account. To ship the kit to Visionect you may use a courier service of your choice, as long as the package can be tracked, but please note that in non­warranty returns all shipping costs of returning the development kit will be borne by you.

A development kit can also be returned if it is defective on arrival or when claiming warranty (see ‘What is the warranty for your development kits?’ and ‘What should I do if I receive a defective product?’). For warranty returns, please contact our sales@visionect.com, who will arrange for pickup of the development kit, with the cost of shipping the package borne by Visionect.
