Customer Success Account Manager: Joan

Your role:

As a Customer Success Account Manager for Joan, you will work with some of the largest name brands worldwide, in offices and higher education institutions across the globe. You will be responsible for full cycle sales – from procuring and maintaining clients to provide an in-depth analysis of needs, submitting estimates, obtaining the order and following through to ensure each job is completed per scope.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to customer inquiries in an appropriate and timely manner.
  • Developing, expanding and cultivating a qualified client base by utilizing various marketing practices, including direct mail, referrals, trade shows, cold calls and other miscellaneous promotional activities.
  • Soliciting and establishing customer needs.
  • Seeking and submitting orders for services and negotiating price and terms within the context of company policy.
  • Preparing estimates used for managing purposes, such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
  • Consulting with clients or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
  • Developing, submitting, implementing, managing and reporting on sales goals and business development plans in accordance with company policies and systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of company products and services, as well as client acquisitions in order to successfully drive sales and achieve company goals.
  • Listening to the needs of the market and share insights with product and marketing teams.
  • Proactivity in solving problems, even when outside your area of expertise, and in taking on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge.
  • Working hours: 2 shifts

Skills, attributes and experience required:

  • 1+ years of experience in sales or account management with a focus on negotiating contracts. Good negotiation skills that allow for value-based contract negotiations at a senior level are a plus.
  • 1+ years of experience in managing phone transactions
  • Experience with SaaS sales or IT sales and a strong understanding of the IT industry are a plus.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with excellent English communication skills a must.
  • Excellent project, time and customer management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and mindset, paired with a great work ethic. An “everyone answers the phone” approach to teamwork and being a teammate are a must.
